Stellar Network Boasts 41 Transactions per Second Amid Price Surge
The Stellar network has seen an increase in transactions per second, reaching a median of 41.2 successful transactions per second and an average of 42.4.
This is according to an analysis conducted by cryptoticker.io on September 28-29, 2026, which measured 999 consecutive ledgers from the same period and 2,000 individually settled transactions.
The analysis also found that the network has a high failure rate of 22.4 percent, with failed transactions paying their fee anyway. However, this does not indicate a broken network, as most failures occur due to trading on the order book function or contract calls and buy/sell offers.
In contrast to the initial test window which reached 211 transactions per second, the analysis shows that the network currently has a significant amount of headroom, with only 20.6 percent of available slots taken at the median.
