Stellar Shatters DeFi Records with $273 Million TVL and 94,972 Active Addresses
The Stellar network has reached a new milestone in its DeFi growth, with its total value locked (TVL) hitting an all-time high of over $273 million as of October 2. This surge in TVL comes just one week after it initially climbed to about $265 million, indicating steady growth in capital deployed across protocols based on its network.
The network has also seen a substantial increase in onchain activity, with a stablecoin market capitalization of $934.54 million and active real-world assets under management of $2.82 billion. User participation in the Stellar network has also increased, with its active addresses reaching 94,972, nearing the 100,000 milestone.
The network's 24-hour DEX volume has also reached $3.38 million, indicating active participation from users. The growth in Stellar's DeFi applications has driven further growth in its native token, XLM.
