Stellar Surges Past $273 Million in DeFi TVL Amid Growing User Interest
The Stellar network has reached a new milestone in its decentralized finance (DeFi) growth, surpassing $273 million in total value locked (TVL). This is an all-time high for the network and represents significant growth from its previous TVL of around $265 million just one week prior. The increase in capital deployed across protocols on the Stellar network has driven further growth in its native token, XLM.
In addition to its record-breaking TVL, the Stellar network has also seen substantial increases in its onchain activity. With over $934.54 million in stablecoin market capitalization and about $2.82 billion in active real-world asset (RWA) assets under management, the network's growth is undeniable.
The surge in DeFi performance has also contributed to an increase in user participation, with the number of active addresses reaching 94,972. This brings the network closer to a major milestone in its user activity and highlights the growing interest in the Stellar ecosystem.
