Stellar Surpasses Aptos in Stablecoin Supply, Raising XLM Price Outlook
Stellar's stablecoin supply has surpassed Aptos', a development that could have implications for XLM prices. The shift in stablecoin market capitalization comes as Stellar continues to grow its on-chain liquidity and network usage.
Aptos currently holds around $950 million in stablecoin market capitalization, down 14% over the past seven days. In contrast, Stellar's stablecoin supply has risen by 4.67% to approximately $961 million during the same period.
The growth of Stellar's stablecoin base may not directly translate to higher demand for XLM, but it can indicate that more dollar-denominated assets are being issued or used across the network.
Analyst VERTIX suggests that XLM has been building a long-term structure for nearly eight years, with prices repeatedly returning to a similar liquidity area while a macro trendline continues to rise. A breakout from this structure could potentially put the $2 region on the radar, representing a gain of roughly 7,751% from its projected base.
