Stellar's $4 Billion Tokenized Asset Market Lags Behind XLM Price Growth
Stellar's tokenized real-world asset market has reached nearly $4 billion after expanding roughly 360% in 2026. The network held approximately $3.996 billion in tokenized government debt, credit, and other assets by late August, proving that public blockchains can host serious financial products at scale.
The growth in tokenized assets is one of the clearest examples of institutional tokenization moving on-chain. Major issuers such as Spiko have contributed hundreds of millions of dollars to the expansion, with Planned institutional connectivity expected to bring even more tokenized securities to Stellar.
Despite this growth, XLM has remained near $0.18 and was down around 11% for the year at the referenced late-August reading. The disconnect gives the XLM price prediction a powerful question: when will network adoption begin translating into stronger XLM demand?
