Stellar's RWA Market Soars to Nearly $4 Billion
Stellar's tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) market has seen explosive growth this year, rising by over 360% to nearly $4 billion. This increase is largely due to the expanding participation of institutions such as DTCC and Tradable, which are now facilitating the tokenization of US Treasuries, ETFs, and private credit assets on the Stellar network.
The largest issuer of RWAs on Stellar is Spiko, with a total value of $1.55 billion, followed by Realize at $559 million and Tradable at $548 million. Additionally, the Stellar Development Foundation reports that over $490 million in non-US government bonds have been issued on the network, including Mexico's CETES and Brazilian government bonds.
As institutional participation continues to grow, DTCC plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar by 2027, allowing for the trading of US Treasuries, major index ETFs, and Russell 1000 stocks. Meanwhile, Tradable is set to onboard up to $1 billion in additional private credit assets onto the network.
