Stellar's Soroban SDK Upgraded to Version 28

Stellar's Soroban SDK has been updated to version 28. This release supports Protocol 28, which launched on September 16, bringing faster consensus and safer migration of contract data. The upgrade includes Spec Shaking v2, which changes the way specs are included in binaries, as well as improvements to contract data migration and executable references.

According to Build on Stellar X, the Soroban SDK now emits an entry for every spec, and the build system strips unused entries. This change is expected to simplify contract development.

The update also includes support for native contracts that can be uploaded in tests. As a result of this upgrade, stored contract data is no longer locked into its original shape, allowing for more flexibility in contract design.

In related news, Stellar is celebrating its 11th anniversary, having launched on September 30, 2015. The network has made significant progress over the years, with a recent milestone of passing 22,000 RWA holders.
