Stellar's Tokenized RWA Market Tops $4 Billion, Led by Institutional Issuers
Stellar's tokenized real-world asset market has experienced significant growth in 2026. As of August 29, the total value of tokenized RWAs on the network reached approximately $3.996 billion, a 360% increase from the end of 2025.
This milestone marks a notable achievement for the Stellar network, which has been steadily adding assets and attracting institutional issuers. The growth is driven primarily by US Treasuries, private and public credit, money market funds, and non-US sovereign debt.
Spiko leads the pack with approximately $1.55 billion in tokenized assets, accounting for over a third of the network's RWA total. The next tier consists of five issuers: Realiz, Tradable, Franklin Templeton's BENJI ecosystem, Ondo, and Etherfuse, which specializes in non-US government debt.
The DTCC plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar, with DTC-custodied assets set to become available in the first half of 2027. However, concentration is a risk worth watching, as five issuers account for most of the market, and Spiko alone holds approximately $1.55 billion.
