Stellar's Top 1% Wallets Cost $2,000, Far Less Than XRP
A recent analysis by Be Crypto Smart suggests that Stellar (XLM) offers cheaper access to high wallet percentile positions compared to XRP, despite both having similar institutional narratives. The show host of Be Crypto Smart cited on-chain scans indicating that a top-1% Stellar wallet holds approximately 12,444 XLM, valued at around $2,072 at an XLM price near $0.165.
Conversely, reaching the same percentile on XRP reportedly requires 44,967 XRP, or roughly $47,889 at $1.60 per token. The difference in wallet distribution and prices is cited as the main reason for this disparity.
The top 10% threshold on Stellar was around 2,200 XLM, worth approximately $365, versus 2,157 XRP, valued at about $2,297. This makes it more realistic for smaller investors to build a relatively high-percentile XLM position over time.
