Stolen Zcash Moved to Shielded Pool

A significant portion of the stolen Zcash (ZEC) from Bitget has been moved into Ironwood, Zcash's shielded pool. This development complicates efforts to track the funds. Approximately $3.8 million worth of ZEC, about 2,700 units, was transferred.

The transfer is attributed to a suspected North Korea-linked attacker by blockchain investigator ZachXBT. The stolen amount totals around $28.3 million after losing about 18,900 ZEC from Bitget's hot wallet.

This movement represents roughly 14% of the stolen funds. As the investigation continues, the transferred coins are being placed in Ironwood.
