Storage Stocks Dominate Trading Amid Big Tech Earnings
MEXC, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has released new data on individual stock futures activity during the latest U.S. tech earnings season.
Between July 20 and August 7, storage and memory stocks accounted for 67.3% of trading, up from 57.5% over the preceding 19 days.
This surge in trading volume was largely driven by SK Hynix's earnings report on July 29, which showed a 257% year-over-year rise in second-quarter revenue and a 557% increase in operating profit.
The company attributed this growth to AI server demand, rising memory prices, and long-term supply agreements.
