Strategy Adds 1,665 BTC to Growing Stockpile Amid Crypto Market Turnaround
Strategy, a publicly traded company that owns and manages a significant amount of Bitcoin, has seen its stockpile grow to a whopping 847,666 coins after purchasing an additional 1,665 BTC last week.
This move comes as the price of Bitcoin continues to rise, reaching around $83,000 on Monday morning. According to data from Farside Investors, spot bitcoin funds saw a significant influx of $2.4 billion in net flows from September 21 to 25, pushing year-to-date inflows to over $1 billion.
The crypto market's turnaround has had a positive impact on Strategy's Bitcoin holdings, which now exceed the number it held before starting to sell its coins earlier this year. However, the overall value of its stockpile remains below what it was worth in early October when the price of Bitcoin hit an all-time high of over $126,000 per coin.
Despite the recent surge in Bitcoin's price, crypto-linked stocks such as Strategy and Coinbase have seen a decline on Monday, with the price of Bitcoin dipping by around 2% in the past 24 hours.
