Strategy Adds 1,665 More Bitcoins, Repurchases STRC Shares

Strategy, a company focused on accumulating Bitcoin, has made another significant purchase. Between September 21 and 27, it bought 1,665 BTC for approximately $142.7 million.

The average price per Bitcoin was around $85,681. This latest acquisition brings Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 847,666 BTC, which were acquired at an aggregate cost of about $63.95 billion, including fees and expenses. The new purchase follows the company's earlier buy of 950 BTC.

Strategy funded part of this activity through sales of its MSTR common stock. It sold roughly 1.47 million shares for approximately $246.2 million in net proceeds, with about $142.7 million going toward Bitcoin and another $103.5 million used to repurchase STRC shares.
