Strategy and Strive Add to Their Combined Bitcoin Stash

Despite some major bitcoin treasuries selling off this year to repay debt or fund operations, Strategy and Strive are continuing to load up on BTC. Strategy, the largest corporate holder of bitcoin, bought 1,665 coins last week for $142.7 million, its second purchase in a row after a brief hiatus.

This latest buy brings Strategy's total holdings to 847,666 bitcoins worth $70.5 billion, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company also bought back $152 million in its preferred stock, STRC.

Strive, the fifth biggest bitcoin treasury, acquired 1,107 BTC for $94.5 million, bringing its holdings to 27,462 coins.
