Strategy Bites on STRC Shares, Expands Debt Repayment Program

Strategy, one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin, has put its Bitcoin purchases on hold for now. Instead of buying more BTC, the company's former CEO Michael Saylor announced that it has repurchased another $176 million worth of STRC shares. This move is part of the recently launched Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program, which has been increased in size from $1 billion to $2 billion.

The announcement came via Saylor's post on X, where he also reminded investors that Strategy currently holds 845,050 BTC and $6.5 billion in USD assets. It appears that last week's Bitcoin purchase was an outlier, as the company has refrained from doubling down on its crypto investment.
