Strategy Boosts Bitcoin Holdings to 846,000 BTC Amid Renewed Price Growth
Strategy has increased its Bitcoin holdings to 846,000 BTC after acquiring an additional 950 BTC at an average price of $79,670 per coin. The purchase, funded by Strategy's USD Cash balance, brings the company's cumulative Bitcoin cost to $63.80 billion with an average purchase price of $75,416 per BTC including fees and expenses.
The new acquisition restores Strategy's holdings to levels previously reached in June. At 846,000 BTC, Strategy controls roughly 4% of Bitcoin's maximum supply of 21 million. The company also repurchased 1,771,238 shares of its STRC preferred stock for $174 million during the same period.
Strategy's USD Reserve now totals $5.04 billion, and it holds another $1.05 billion in USD Cash, giving the company a substantial dollar-denominated pool alongside its Bitcoin holdings.
