Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, has broken its two-month Bitcoin silence with a significant purchase. The company acquired 4,603 BTC between August 24 and August 30 at an average price of $80,318 per BTC.

The latest purchase brings Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 845,050 BTC, accounting for over 4% of the total 21 million coin supply cap. This represents a substantial accumulation of BTC, with Strategy having spent approximately $63.73 billion on its Bitcoin portfolio at an average purchase price of $75,412 per BTC.

Strategy financed the latest purchase through proceeds from its capital markets operations rather than relying solely on existing cash. The company also used some of the proceeds to repurchase STRC preferred stock and allocate funds toward STRC dividends.
