Strategy Buys 950 Bitcoin Worth $75.7 Million Amid Repurchases
Strategy, a company behind the popular cryptocurrency tracking platform, has made significant investments in Bitcoin and repurchased its own shares. Between September 14th and 20th, Strategy acquired approximately $75.7 million worth of Bitcoin at an average price of $79,670 per coin.
This purchase brings the total number of Bitcoin held by Strategy to 846,000, acquired at an aggregate purchase price of $63.80 billion and an average price of $75,416 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.
In addition to its Bitcoin purchases, Strategy repurchased 1,771,238 shares of its own Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock for a total of $174 million. The company has $875.1 million remaining in its preferred stock repurchase program and $1 billion available under its MSTR stock repurchase program.
