Strategy Buys Another Chunk of Bitcoin

Strategy, a Bitcoin treasury company, has made another significant acquisition of BTC. Between September 14 and 20, the firm bought 950 BTC for approximately $75.7 million at an average price of $79,670 per bitcoin.

This purchase brings Strategy's total holdings to 846,000 BTC, worth around $71.9 billion, acquired at an average price of $75,416 per bitcoin for a total cost of around $63.8 billion, including fees and expenses, according to its co-founder and executive chairman, Michael Saylor.

Strategy's holdings represent more than 4% of Bitcoin's 21 million supply cap, implying around $8.1 billion in paper gains at current prices.
