Strategy Earnings Collapse: $5.5B Loss or $6.3B Profit Projection
Strategy Inc., a prominent company in the crypto-economy, has undergone a major overhaul of its key financial metric. The company's CEO revealed an adjustment to its annual guidance, projecting results between a $5.5 billion loss and a $6.3 billion profit.
This significant shift in Strategy's financial projections comes after a record profit was reported earlier. According to Michael Saylor, executive chairman of the company, the greatest risk to Bitcoin comes from within its own ranks, pointing to the controversial BIP-110 proposal.
Contrary to claims that Strategy caused Bitcoin's decline, analyst Jamie Coutts rejects this notion, arguing weak demand and tightening global liquidity better explain the market reversal across markets. Additionally, economist Peter Schiff issued a warning to Bitcoin investors following MicroStrategy's latest share issuance, stating that buying MSTR shares without considering the risks is ill-advised.
