The total investment for this purchase amounted to $28.67 million, expanding the company's corporate Bitcoin holdings to a substantial 848,000 BTC. The current value of these holdings is estimated at $73.03 billion, with an average cost of $75,441 per BTC. This acquisition has generated an unrealized profit of $9.059 billion for the company.
In another notable transaction, Bitmine purchased 15,112 ETH at approximately $2,687 per token, investing a total of $40.6 million. This addition brings Bitmine's total ETH holdings to 6,016,414 ETH, valued at $16.34 billion. The average cost per ETH for Bitmine stands at $3,336, resulting in an unrealized loss of $3.73 billion.
Looking at the Bitcoin price action on the 4-hour chart, the cryptocurrency remains within the Bollinger Bands. The upper resistance is at $86,729.57, while the EMA50 at $84,700.54 acts as immediate support beneath the current price level of $86,146.69.
