Strategy Holds Firm on No New BTC Purchases Amid Increased USD Reserves
Strategy, the world's largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, made no new BTC purchases last week. The company has been selling BTC in recent weeks and currently holds 845,050 BTC.
In a statement to investors, Strategy founder Michael Saylor confirmed that the company did not buy or sell any additional Bitcoin during this period.
However, the company did engage in other financial activities, buying back preferred shares of STRC for $176 million and increasing its USD reserves to $6.5 billion.
Additionally, Strategy increased the size of its Digital Credit Securities Buyback Program from $1 billion to $2 billion, aiming to repurchase its own preferred shares on the market.
