Strategy Inc Bolsters Crypto Reserves with $75.7M BTC Purchase
Strategy Inc has made significant moves in its financial management, as revealed in its recent SEC filing. The company announced that it purchased $75.7 million worth of Bitcoin between September 14th and 20th, bringing its aggregate holdings to approximately 846,000 BTC.
The average price per Bitcoin for this purchase was around $79,670. This move is a substantial addition to Strategy's existing cryptocurrency reserves.
In other news, the company also repurchased shares of STRC stock worth $174 million under its repurchase program. This brings the total number of STRC shares repurchased by Strategy to a significant amount.
Strategy used part of its USD Reserve to pay preferred dividends and interest, totaling $57.4 million during this period. As of September 20th, its USD Reserve balance stood at $5.04 billion, while its USD Cash balance was $1.05 billion.
