Strategy Joins Coinbase, Circle in Backing Trump's Youth Investment Program
Strategy, a financial services company, has joined Coinbase and Circle in supporting President Donald Trump's Trump Accounts initiative. This program aims to help children start investing early by providing a $1,000 seed contribution from the U.S. Treasury. Strategy will match this contribution for eligible children born between 2025 and 2028 and contribute $250 annually to each child's account.
Strategy CEO Phong Le said that Trump Accounts could help build a stronger financial future for young Americans by promoting long-term saving and investing. The company has previously donated to Trump-aligned groups, including the MAGA Inc. super PAC in January 2025.
The Trump Accounts program is part of the broader Invest America initiative, which seeks to strengthen financial literacy and encourage early participation in markets. Eligible children's accounts will invest in mutual funds or ETFs tracking U.S. equities.
