Strategy Lands Another Bitcoin Purchase, Boosting Holdings to 847k Coins

Strategy, an investment company, has continued its buying spree in Bitcoin (BTC). Between September 21 and 27, it purchased 1,665 BTC for $142.7 million, bringing its total holdings to 847,666 BTC. This marks the second consecutive week of purchases by the company.

The average price paid per coin was $85,681, including fees and expenses. Strategy's overall holdings now have an aggregate purchase price of $63.95 billion, with an average cost of $75,437 per BTC.

The acquisition was funded by net proceeds from selling 1,469,165 shares of MSTR common stock, which generated $246.2 million. $103.5 million of this amount was allocated to repurchasing STRC preferred shares.
