Strategy Repurchases $139 Million in STRC Shares, Holds Steady on Bitcoin
Strategy, an investment firm, recently made some notable moves in its portfolio. Between September 8 and September 13, it repurchased $139.3 million worth of STRC shares. As of September 13, Strategy held approximately 845,050 Bitcoin, which was purchased for a total of $63.73 billion at an average cost of around $75,412 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.
The repurchased STRC shares were funded from Strategy's USD Cash, which stood at $1.30 billion as of September 13, down after the $139.3 million expenditure. The company has a total of $2.05 billion available for preferred stock purchases under its digital credit securities repurchase program.
Strategy made no changes to its Bitcoin holdings during this period and did not sell any shares through its at-the-market offering. Its USD Reserve remains at $5.10 billion, which is intended to support preferred-stock dividends and interest on outstanding debt.
