Strategy Repurchases STRC Stock, Raises Digital Credit Securities Limit
Strategy, a company known for its Bitcoin holdings, did not make any new purchases of the cryptocurrency last week. Instead, it repurchased $176 million worth of STRC preferred stock and increased its digital credit securities repurchase program limit to $2 billion from $1 billion.
In an X post on Sept. 8, Chairman Michael Saylor announced that Strategy had bought back $176 million of its STRC preferred stock. The company also raised the limit on its digital credit securities repurchase program to $2 billion, giving it more flexibility in managing its assets.
As of Sept. 7, Strategy held 845,050 Bitcoin and approximately $6.5 billion in dollar assets.
