Strategy Saylor Sends Another 'Orange' Signal for Bitcoin Purchase
Strategy Inc., the company led by Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, has sent another signal that it may be preparing to buy more Bitcoin. On September 20, Saylor posted a message on X saying 'A little more orange,' which is a recognizable signal for the company's next transaction disclosure. The post came after a two-week pause in buying, during which the company retained its holdings of 845,050 BTC and billions in cash.
The 'orange' circles on Strategy's acquisition chart represent the company's Bitcoin purchases, making Saylor's message a clear indication that another large purchase is likely imminent. The current holdings of 845,050 BTC are valued at approximately $67.90 billion, with an average acquisition cost of $75,412 per coin and an unrealized gain of roughly $3.95 billion.
Saylor used similar language before the company's latest confirmed acquisition, which saw Strategy spend around $369.7 million on Bitcoin between August 24 and August 30, paying an average of $80,318 per coin and lifting its holdings to the current total. The company has $5.10 billion in its U.S. dollar reserve and $1.30 billion in flexible USD Cash as of September 13.
The 'CLARITY Act' setback in the Senate has not deterred Saylor's broader strategy, which emphasizes financial products, regulated market access, and digital capital, placing Strategy's BTC accumulation within a larger push to expand crypto's role in traditional finance.
