Strategy Scoops Up 1,665 Bitcoin for $142M Amid BTC Holdings Surge

Michael Saylor's Strategy acquired 1,665 Bitcoin last week for $142.7 million, increasing its holdings to 847,666 BTC.

The company bought the Bitcoin at an average price of $85,681 per coin between Monday and Sunday, according to a September 28 filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The purchase was funded by proceeds from the sale of MSTR stock shares, which totaled 1.47 million shares for $246.2 million in net proceeds.

Of this amount, Strategy allocated $142.7 million to Bitcoin and $103.5 million to repurchases of its STRC preferred stock.
