Strategy Sells $105 Million in Bitcoin to Fund Dividend Payments

Strategy, the world's largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, has made another significant sale. According to its founder Michael Saylor, the company sold 1,638 Bitcoins worth approximately $105 million between July 27 and August 2.

The average price per Bitcoin was $63,957, generating a total revenue of $104.7 million for Strategy during this period. The company stated that it sold BTC to finance preferred stock dividends and to repurchase STRC shares.

Strategy has not made any purchases in the past 6 weeks, and its holdings have fallen to 842,138 Bitcoins. However, the company's US dollar reserves have increased to approximately $4 billion, extending the period for dividend payments by 57 days to 2.3 years.
