Strategy Sticks with No-Buy Pause as Bitcoin Soars
Strategy, a corporate holder of Bitcoin, has continued its no-buy pause for another week. The company's co-founder and former CEO Michael Saylor announced this decision, citing the firm's focus on growing its USD reserve instead.
The strategy employed by Strategy involved increasing its regular USD reserve to $5.1 billion and establishing an additional USD Cash reserve of $1.59 billion.
Notably, Strategy has refrained from selling Bitcoin during this period, despite the asset's price surge from under $65,000 to over $78,000.
The company's massive Bitcoin position, acquired at an average accumulation price of around $75,400 for approximately $63.3 billion, is now worth over $65.6 billion due to the current market conditions.
