Strategy Suffers $8.22 Billion Q2 Loss Amid Bitcoin Price Volatility
Strategy reported an $8.22 billion net loss in Q2 2026 due to fair value changes tied to its Bitcoin holdings, which climbed to 843,775 BTC as of July 26, a 25% year-to-date increase.
The company's Chief Executive Officer Phong Le stated that Strategy strengthened its balance sheet 'while navigating a meaningful Bitcoin price decline,' highlighting growth in Bitcoin holdings, reduced convertible debt, and higher Bitcoin Per Share.
