Strategy Surpasses 4% of Bitcoin Supply with $142M Bitcoin Acquisition

Strategy, a company led by Michael Saylor, has made significant moves in its bitcoin accumulation strategy. The firm acquired 1,665 additional bitcoins between September 21 and 27, 2026, for approximately $142.7 million at an average price of $85,681 per unit.

This purchase brings Strategy's total reserves to 847,666 BTC, representing a cumulative acquisition cost of around $64 billion or an average price of $75,437 per bitcoin.

The current value of this bitcoin portfolio held by Strategy exceeds $70.6 billion, generating an estimated unrealized gain of $6.6 billion. This asset volume holds major symbolic significance as Strategy now controls more than 4% of the maximum supply of 21 million bitcoins.
