Strategy Tees Up Return of Bitcoin Buys Amid Market Recovery
Strategy's Michael Saylor has hinted that the company is ready to resume its Bitcoin buying strategy. Over the weekend, he posted 'We're Back' on X, a message that suggests a new round of purchases could be announced as early as September 1.
The company had gone quiet on acquisitions for about two months, instead focusing on stabilizing its stock offerings and accumulating a $5.1 billion cash reserve. This pause came during a difficult stretch for Bitcoin, which left Strategy's massive treasury in the red on paper.
However, recent momentum has pushed Bitcoin back above $80,000, returning Strategy's position to profitability for the first time in months. With billions in fresh capital on hand, a resumption of weekly purchases could inject significant buying pressure into the market.
