Strategy Tracks Bitcoin's 200-Week Moving Average as Price Hovers Near $62,500

Michael Saylor has announced that Strategy is now tracking Bitcoin's 200-week moving average and its premium to that level on their public dashboard.

The 200-week average has long been considered a floor signal for Bitcoin bulls, as it marks the end of past bear markets and rarely gets broken to the downside for long.

Bitcoin broke below this level for the first time since 2022 earlier this year, but has since clawed back towards it, trading around $62,500 at press time.

This new metric comes as Strategy's own Bitcoin math has become more complicated due to their large holdings and recent sales of BTC to fund shareholder distributions.
