Strategy's Scale Gives It an Edge Over Smaller Bitcoin Treasuries, Says Ammous

Economist and author Saifedean Ammous believes that Strategy's scale and financing advantages give it an edge over smaller Bitcoin treasuries. Speaking on Cointelegraph's Proof of Thesis, Ammous argued that Strategy's size allows it to borrow at better terms, creating a structural advantage.

According to the 8-K filing cited in the discussion, Strategy reported holding 847,666 BTC acquired for $63.95 billion and a $5.02 billion US dollar reserve for preferred dividends and debt interest.

Ammous noted that even if Bitcoin's price drops sharply, Strategy's cash reserves would allow it to continue meeting its obligations without being forced into unfavorable actions.
