Strategy's stock price target has been cut by Maxim Group to $215 from $250. The bank maintains its Buy rating on the stock, but this adjustment suggests investors may be reassessing their expectations.

The decision follows a significant sale of Bitcoin by Strategy, with the company selling 1,638 coins worth around $105 million to fund buybacks and dividends. This move has raised eyebrows in the market, and several other firms have also trimmed their price targets for Strategy.

Cantor Fitzgerald lowered its target to $186 and cut its Bitcoin forecast to $98,000 by August 2027, down from an earlier prediction of $111,000. B. Riley made a deeper cut, reducing its target from $215 to $155 and lowering its Bitcoin forecast from $81,500 to $65,000.

Strategy still holds a substantial amount of Bitcoin, with over 842,138 coins remaining after the sale. The company has not commented on a possible link between the sale and recent wallet transfers worth more than $66 million.
