Stripe Taps Open USD as Default Stablecoin
Open USD has launched as Stripe's default stablecoin, marking a significant milestone in the adoption of digital currencies by major payment processors.
The move is part of Stripe's efforts to expand its offerings and improve financial services for its users. Mastercard has partnered with BVNK to facilitate transactions, while Visa offers limited beta access. Coinbase is scheduled to follow on October 1.
