Strive Aims to Surpass 27K BTC by Year-End Amid Strong Market Sentiment
Strive Inc., a publicly traded company listed as ASST, has been aggressively accumulating Bitcoin. As of August 28th, Strive held 23,156 BTC, making it one of the top five public companies to hold Bitcoin globally.
In an interview, CEO Matt Cole hinted that the company could exceed 27,000 BTC by year-end. This would be a significant milestone for Strive, which has been rapidly increasing its Bitcoin holdings since fall 2025, when it held around 5,000 BTC.
Strive's acquisition of Semler Scientific and reverse merger with Asset Entities gave the company both a public listing and a clear mandate to accumulate Bitcoin. To finance this effort, Strive uses its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, trading under the ticker SATA.
Cole believes that the current market environment is potentially Bitcoin's strongest cycle yet, citing structural demand for scarce assets amid persistent inflationary pressures.
