Strive and Strategy Boost Public Bitcoin Holdings Amid Price Surge
Strive, the company holding the fifth-largest public Bitcoin position, acquired 1,355 BTC for around $107.7 million last week. This purchase brought their total holdings to 26,355 BTC, with an average cost of $79,475 per coin between September 14 and 18.
The latest acquisition has Strive's holdings valued at over $2.25 billion, following Bitcoin's surge above $85,000 on Monday. This price increase pushed many corporate treasury holdings back above their estimated average acquisition cost near $80,500.
Strategy, another prominent public Bitcoin holder, resumed buying after a two-week pause, adding 950 BTC for around $75.7 million and raising their total holdings to 846,000 BTC. The company paid an average of $79,670 per coin in this latest purchase.
