Strive Becomes Fifth-Largest Bitcoin Treasury After $143M Purchase

Strive's stock surged on Monday after the company announced a significant bitcoin purchase, making it the fifth-largest publicly traded crypto treasury.

The Nasdaq-listed company acquired 1,800 bitcoins between August 24 and August 28 for an average price of $79,431 per coin. According to its SEC filing, this latest buy brings Strive's total bitcoin holdings to 23,156 coins worth approximately $1.8 billion at current prices.

Strive now ranks fifth among corporate holders of Bitcoin, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet, and MARA. The company's stock (NASDAQ: ASST) rose by nearly 9% on Monday, with its year-to-date increase reaching 40%.
