Strive Boosts Bitcoin Holdings with Third-Largest Purchase
Strive has completed its third-largest Bitcoin purchase, acquiring 2,000 BTC for $169 million at an average price of $84,422 per coin. This latest buy brings the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 29,462 units, accumulated at an average cost between $90,400 and $90,700.
The transaction marks a significant increase in Strive's Bitcoin accumulation, representing the largest weekly purchase since the company's record buy of 2,500 BTC in late May and early June 2026. The only larger addition to Strive's holdings came from the merger with Semler Scientific, which involved 5,816-5,817 BTC worth $675 million.
Strive's latest purchase contrasts with the activity of Strategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, which has slowed down its accumulation. Strategy's most recent buy was just 334 BTC, significantly lower than Strive's latest addition.
The company's capital raise for this purchase came primarily from SATA, with warrants generating $56.7 million. Today's 8-K filing also highlights key metrics and KPIs through the third quarter of 2026.
