Strive CEO Confident ASST Will Lead Next Bitcoin Bull Run
Strive CEO Matt Cole has positioned his company as the likely leader in the next Bitcoin bull market, outpacing Strategy in terms of amplification and growth potential. In an interview with podcaster Robin Seyr, Cole highlighted Strive’s higher amplification ratio, currently at 51.4%, compared to Strategy’s 25%, giving his firm a significant edge. He emphasized the importance of maintaining this ratio while preserving Bitcoin upside, factors he believes will drive the highest returns.
Cole predicted Bitcoin could reach $400,000 to $500,000 by late 2029, driven by a potential US debt crisis that weakens the dollar and lowers long-term yields. Despite this bullish outlook, he downplayed any rivalry with Strategy, noting that both companies can collaborate to expand the market for Bitcoin-backed digital credit. He argued that institutions need multiple issuers due to issuer limits, making competition and cooperation complementary rather than mutually exclusive.
Strive recently acquired 2,000 BTC for $169 million, bringing its total holdings to 29,462 BTC, while Strategy holds 848,000 BTC. ASST, Strive’s preferred stock, was trading near $30, up 137% in three months but down 42% over a year. Meanwhile, SATA offers a 13% daily dividend, slightly higher than Strategy’s STRC at 12%. Cole acknowledged mutual innovation between the two firms, stating that both benefit from each other’s advancements.
