Strive CEO Predicts Dominance in Next Bitcoin Bull Run
Strive CEO Matt Cole has positioned his company as the likely leader in the next Bitcoin bull market, backing his claim with seven principles on competition posted on X. Cole argues that Strive’s high amplification ratio, currently at 51.4%, compared to Strategy’s roughly 25%, gives it a significant edge. He emphasized that maintaining this ratio without sacrificing Bitcoin upside is crucial for driving total returns.
Cole also shared his outlook on Bitcoin’s potential surge, predicting prices between $400,000 and $500,000 by late 2029, driven by a US debt crisis. Despite this bold forecast, he downplayed any rivalry with Strategy, noting that both firms can collaborate to expand the market for Bitcoin-backed digital credit. He dismissed concerns about market share, arguing that the growth of the digital credit pool is more important than competition between issuers.
Strive recently added 2,000 BTC to its holdings, bringing its total to 29,462 BTC, while Strategy holds 848,000 BTC. At the time of writing, Strive’s ASST was trading near $30, up 137% in three months but down 42% over a year. Meanwhile, Strategy’s STRC offers a 12% daily dividend, slightly lower than Strive’s 13%. Cole acknowledged that both companies innovate based on each other’s moves, fostering a dynamic competitive environment.
