Strive CEO Predicts Dominance in Next Bitcoin Bull Run
Strive CEO Matt Cole has positioned his company as the likely leader among Bitcoin treasury firms in the next bull market, backing this claim with seven principles on competition shared on X. Cole emphasized that Strive’s high amplification ratio, which compares a company’s preferred stock and debt to the value of its Bitcoin, sets it apart. Strive’s ratio stands at 51.4%, entirely from SATA preferred shares with no debt, while Strategy’s is around 25%, placing Strive at roughly twice Strategy’s amplification.
Cole predicted that the next Bitcoin bull run could push prices to $400,000 to $500,000 by late 2029, driven by a potential US debt crisis. He also downplayed any rivalry with Strategy, noting that both firms can collaborate to expand the market for Bitcoin-backed digital credit. He argued that institutions need multiple issuers due to issuer limits, and that both companies have innovated by learning from each other.
As of October 5, Strive acquired 2,000 BTC for $169 million, bringing its total holdings to 29,462 BTC, compared to Strategy’s 848,000 BTC. At the time of writing, ASST was trading near $30, up 137% in three months but down 42% over a year. SATA offers a 13% daily dividend, slightly higher than Strategy’s 12% on STRC.
