Strive Holdings boosts Bitcoin holdings to 29,462 BTC with $169 million purchase
Strive Holdings has significantly boosted its Bitcoin holdings with the acquisition of 2,000 BTC, valued at approximately $169 million. The purchase, made at an average price of $84,422 per coin, brings the company's total Bitcoin reserves to 29,462 BTC.
This latest acquisition is part of a broader trend of aggressive Bitcoin buying by Strive. Since August 24, the firm has added 8,106 BTC to its portfolio, spending around $659.6 million at an average cost of $81,374 per coin. Funding for these purchases came largely from SATA, which contributed 61.5% of the capital, while warrant exercises added another $56.7 million.
The repeated large-scale purchases by Strive highlight growing institutional confidence in Bitcoin as a long-term investment. This pattern aligns with rising institutional interest in the cryptocurrency market.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin's network activity is experiencing a shift at the retail level. Micro-transactions under 0.01 BTC now account for nearly 80% of all network activity, indicating a rise in smaller, more frequent transactions. This dual trend of institutional accumulation and increased retail micro-transactions underscores Bitcoin's evolving role in the financial ecosystem.
