Strive Raises $100M+ via Perpetual Preferred Stock for 1,192 BTC Acquisition
Strive Asset Management has potentially raised funds to acquire 1,192 Bitcoin through its SATA perpetual preferred stock. According to analysis by Bitcoin Treasuries, this move signals a renewed capacity for Strive to expand its digital asset treasury amid a recovering share price.
The company's use of SATA allows it to tap equity markets without diluting common shareholders in a traditional sense, while directly supporting its Bitcoin treasury strategy. This mechanism is designed to issue new shares only when the stock trades above its $100 par value. After falling to $79 in June, Strive's share price regained this threshold on Aug. 21, restoring the company's fundraising capacity.
This development comes as Bitcoin has shown resilience in recent weeks, with institutional interest remaining strong. The potential purchase of 1,192 BTC would add to Strive's existing holdings, reinforcing its position among corporate Bitcoin holders.
