Strive's Bitcoin Exposure Per Share Declines Amid Faster Rising Shares
Strive, a Bitcoin treasury firm, bought 20 BTC in late July, bringing its holdings to 20,020. However, despite this increase, the company's effective common shares rose faster, trimming gross Bitcoin exposure per share by about 0.03%. This occurred between July 24 and July 31.
The purchase was made at an average price of approximately $63,191, including fees and expenses. Strive's Bitcoin holdings climbed 0.10% during this period, while effective common shares increased 0.13%.
Using the snapshot dated July 24 as a baseline, the disclosed figures show that gross Bitcoin exposure per share fell from about 23,781.2 satoshis to 23,773.9 satoshis on July 31. This decline is equivalent to a 0.03% reduction.
Strive added 20 BTC while its effective share count rose faster, reducing Bitcoin exposure per share during the week ended July 31. The company's cash and cash equivalents fell from $154 million on July 24 to $151.3 million on July 31.
