Strive's Bitcoin Treasury Surges to Fifth Place Amid Warrant Catalyst
Strive Asset Management has rapidly accumulated Bitcoin in August, adding 3,156 BTC to its treasury and moving it into fifth place among publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders. The company now holds a total of 23,156 BTC worth approximately $1.9 billion.
This rapid growth has put Strive within striking distance of Twenty One Capital, the second-largest public Bitcoin holder, with only 17 weeks remaining in the year. CEO Matt Cole stated that overtaking Twenty One Capital is possible but not his base case, requiring an average of around 1,200 BTC per week until year-end.
A potential catalyst for further growth could come from the exercise of outstanding ASST warrants worth over $700 million, which expire in mid-October. If Strive's shares reach the exercise price of $27 before then, the company could unlock hundreds of millions of dollars in additional capacity for Bitcoin purchases.
