Stronger Issuers Can Lift Entire Sector: Michael Saylor
Bitcoin-focused credit issuers could attract more capital to the sector if they are stronger and well-managed, according to Michael Saylor. He said that weaker companies could undermine confidence in the category.
Saylor, founder of Strategy, wants Strive and other well-managed issuers to succeed as the market for Bitcoin-linked corporate financing develops. He believes growth in Bitcoin prices, wider use of digital credit, and greater recognition of digital equity will benefit the broader sector.
Strategy and Strive have a similar capital structure, with Bitcoin serving as digital capital, STRC and SATA representing digital credit, and MSTR and ASST representing digital equity. Strive's Bitcoin treasury stands at 27,462 BTC after buying $94.5 million worth of Bitcoin, adding 1,107 BTC to its holdings at an average price of $85,396 per coin.
